In the midst of the COVID-19 outbreak, our volunteer programing at World Relief Chicago has gone digital! Our volunteer coordinators are equipping our current volunteers to continue connecting with the students and mentees they are matched with using digital platforms like What's App, Google Hangout, Skype, etc. Read more updates on World Relief Chicago's COVID-19 response here.

While we will not be hosting our in-person info sessions for the time-being, we are looking at different options for virtual ways we can invite new volunteers to continue building a welcoming community for our immigrant neighbors. If you'd like to be the first to know about ways you can be involved, please email and we'll keep you posted.

Upcoming info session dates:

Our info session is designed to set you up for success as you begin building relationships with refugees, asylees, and other immigrant groups in Chicago. Through interactive group activities you’ll learn valuable cross-cultural skills and meet other perspective volunteers who are passionate about this kind of work. You’ll also gain a broader understanding of the global displacement crisis and learn about immigration issues in the U.S. We hope you’ll leave understanding all the ways you can make an impact by serving as a World Relief Chicago volunteer. This event is open to anyone interested in volunteering with World Relief Chicago.
